What is Bectu?

Broadcasting, Entertainment, Communications and Theatre Union

  • The union for non-performing roles in film/TV, cinemas,

    arts, theatre, live events & leisure.

  • Around 40,000 members across the UK employees, casual and freelance.

  • Has relationships & written agreements with employers across the creative sector.

  • Sets rates of pay & guidance in workplaces and national rate cards/agreements.

What is Fashion UK?

Fashion UK is the first Union branch dedicated to helping Fashion Creatives. A branch is a part of a Union created to help a group of workers organise and mobilise in the workplace.

 

Formed in 2023, we aim to help Fashion Creatives who do not have a voice be heard and raise awareness of issues such as low pay and mistreatment in the workplace.

 

Fashion UK is a national branch, meaning we have members from all over the UK.
